Now it's Employees turn to get bluffed!

Firstly, Flipkart played with the students of IIMs by offering a job and later asking them to convert that into internship by deferring the joining dates of the campus placements.

Now, its the employees of the Flipkart who are suffering.

Flipkart suddenly has asked the under performers to resign or to take severance pay.

Due to which around 1000 jobs are at the risk.

This move is the result of the challenges Flipkart is facing in the online industry.

Recently, acquired Jabong, has to take care of the performance of the company. But, directly asking to resign is not the only way to make the employees worth.

 It is actually the cost to the company which in turn has to be faced by the Flipkart only.

Flipkart has about 30,000 employees which means this policy is going to affect about 2.3-3.3% of the employees.

While on asking in this concern, the heads said that- "It is a very common practice in the high performing internet organizations".

Let's see, what new turn it will be taking now. But, overall the organization failed to be proven as the Employee centric organization.
  

The true Motivator!

The true Motivator is always a Guru indeed.

Today I was so disappointed, but now after accomplishment of the task, I am feeling really very good. Who says, I am bad with numbers. 

Really now after doing 3hours of calculation I'm feeling so damn good.

Really as my Best Friend says- "Practice till you get it right"

Shocked to know that we are no.1 in stunted children too!

A report came out, where it was been declared that- We Indians are no.1, but for what?
And it was No.1 in the number of the stunted children. The reason is the lack of toilets and clean water.

Nigeria and Pakistan are No.2 and No.3 respectively.

Just think for a moment if we are keeping that much of track on other projects then why not on the hygiene and sanitation, it's a big shame for us.

Children are having malnutrition from the very early age itself.

More shocking thing is that we are having 48 million stunted children, while Nigeria and Pakistan have 10.3 million and 9.8 million respectively.

It's a high time to look at this issue and need to be sorted out at the earliest possible.

"70": A lucky number for Myntra!

When yesterday Flipkart's Myntra acquired Jabong for $70 Million. People were like how they were able to crack the deal in just three days of the talk. One of the reason was- they paid the amount in cash.

So, the amount in cash been paid to acquire Jabong was $70 million on the other hand when it did so, now the combined market share in the online fashion market is now 70%, which will now be their greatest advantage over Amazon.

Also, it has now covered both the desktop and mobile handsets of the users. Because, Jabong is very strong in desktop shopping, while Myntra is primarily mobile based-app.

Myntra offered to pay more than Snapdeal and the Future Group, which was $50 million and $35 million respectively.

And so finally Global fashion Group and Kinnevik, the owner of Jabong decided to sell it's Jabong unit to Myntra.

Let's see further this number "70" will be able to proven lucky in terms of the profit building or not. It will be seen soon.

Now it's Uber and Ola's turn for the political influence!

Maharashtra Govt. is soon going to put some restrictions on Ola and Uber rides.

The reason been the continuous heat from auto and rickshaws and cab drivers. There are in total 1 lac auto rickshaw driver and 30,000 cab drivers. So, if we can take an average that each of them has 3 family members then the total goes to 5 lac voters which cannot be taken for granted for the civic elections in Mumbai and Thane.

Actually what happened was one of the union called off a strike which was to be started from tuesday onward. But based on the assurance given by the CM of Maharashtra i.e; Devendra Fadnavis.
Lets see how he will resolve this situation.

It will be cleared soon.
But, in all bad news for the app based operating cabs.

A year for the legend who left us; Mr. Kalam!

Today it's a year been completed of Dr. A.P.J Abdul Kalam.

He passed away while giving the speech at IIM Shillong.

Can you imagine, he left for the heaven while doing the work only, while giving an inspiration to many students.

The man who walked 3km daily to collect newspapers from a place and then distributed it while running from one house to another at an age of 10years.

The man who didn't got married for serving the nation.

He had an option to join NASA, but he chose ISRO, just to serve our country.
The  man whose patriotic-stories will be on each and every Indian tongue forever and ever.

The man who loved the children like anything, as for him they were the future of our country.

The man who truly said that Look at the sky, we are not alone. The whole universe is friendly to us and conspires only to give the best to those who dream and work.

Taking him as a motivation, I am ready to fight every difficult situation of my life. Are you ready to do the same?

Do something to make your nation proud.

Be someone, that you don't need to introduce yourself anymore.

Be the change, that you want to see.

At last saluting Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam. May your soul Rest in peace. May there be many leaders to serve our nation and the whole world like you.

Why Myntra decided to cut off it's 200 brands.

Myntra now is focusing on building the brand image and is only targeting on the big and the famous brands only.

The reason been it just want to increase the profits. There are few brands listed on the site which only have a sale of about 2-3 products a day.

In turn the big brands have a large margin because of the brand value and the price. As price is proportional to the quality.

 Myntra wants to work on this aspect and is only targeting good and big brands. On the other hand in the near future customers will have a perception that when it comes to quality, Myntra is the only one to choose from.

In all Myntra's CEO Ananth Narayan, said that- they want to be known for the quality and so are focusing on the brand Image.

On the other hand, it will be a difficult thing for Amazon, as Flipkart's Myntra and recently acquired Jabong will not leave a single stone not been turned to beat the giant.

Pity Yahoo!

Finally! after getting badly depreciated in terms of the profitability, Yahoo has now been acquired by Verizon, the largest U.S. wireless communication service provider.

It has acquired Yahoo for $4.8 billion, approximately same amount for which it denied to acquire Google ($5 Billion in 2002). Yahoo still regret the decision of not acquiring Google at that time for just the negotiation of $2 Billion to acquire Google, which lasted for about 3 months.

Yahoo's properties like- its search engine, email service, photo sharing site Flickr and blogging platform Tumblr will presumably continue to operate.

FYI, AOL was another internet based struggling company acquired by Verizon.
   

Why Flipkart's Myntra acquired Jabong! @$70 million discount deal

Today was one of the beautiful and memorable day remarked in the history of E-commerce.
Jabong which is owned by Global Fashion Group(GFG).

There were many rivals fighting for acquiring Jabong such as Aditya Birla Group, Amazon, Future Group and Snapdeal. But, finally the battle was won by Flipkart Ltd.'s Myntra.

It was a $70 million deal, which preserved the Flipkart's position as no.1 in the Indian online market place.

When at this time Flipkart was struggling to grow, it is one of the best step took by them, says experts. It will definitely increase there sales and on the other hand it has also increased the competition for the Giant Amazon.

Now the question arises that why Flipkart did so. The answer to the question is just to gain the market share and also to sustain in the market where the biggest competitor i.e; Amazon is doing just great. It will help Flipkart to increase its sales a lot.

All we can hope in the near future that definitely now; Flipkart + Myntra + Jabong will be greater than or equal to Amazon.

Guess the place: "It has more temples than Schools and colleges"

Though the answer to the question-"Which country has more temples than Schools and colleges" is answered but it actually does not need any answer at all, as it is a but obvious thing that which is this country.

Our country India, so called the democratic country, which is by the people, of the people and for the people. Though it will be harsh to hurt anyone's believes but people need to realize at least now, that the improvement in their mindset is the need for an hour.

According to SocialCops' analysis of Census 2011 data, India is having more registered places of worships than schools and colleges. Under the census, 30.1 lakhs of India's 33 crore registered houses are the place of worship while only 21 lakhs houses were registered as schools and colleges.

The need of an hour is to focus on the reforms and the education sector rather than collecting the amount from donation and then building the worship places on places one by one.

Uber's emotional connect to it's customers!

Imagine a scenario, where a lady is been sent to hospital in the Uber cab for her's delivery. What if the condition was so critical that it gave birth in the cab itself or what if the cab helped her reach the hospital on time. It's Uber who has helped her and gave her the assistance for her's and the newly born.

At the first place itself they have helped her in one of the most precious part of her life and suddenly she gets a jumpsuit for her newly born, the mother gets the onesies for herself as a gift from Uber. On the other hand the drivers who handled all these situations are also awarded.

WoW! what a beautiful cum surprising and emotional moment created for a mother from just a Taxi's side. That is called the emotional connect and this will create such an impact that not only that particular lady will opt Uber but her family members too for the whole of their lives.
                     
As, this is a way to create the customer-loyalty and this bond will be forever and ever.

FYI Uber has recently completed its 2 billion rides in India. 

No more Yahooooo!!! for YAHOO..!

                     

                        After hearing a news that Yahoo had a loss of $440 million in the past quarter, I really fear having an official account of yahoo. Though it was having just $22 million loss in the immediate preceding year.
                     
                       OMG! What if the company suddenly stops it's operations and then what will be happening to their accounts.

                      You will be shocked to know that once Yahoo! Rejected to acquire Google for $5 billion in 2002, when the then CEO Terry Semel refused the deal after months of negotiation. Yahoo initially made a $3 billion offer but walked out after Google made a counter offer of $5 billion.

                    After that Google's parent company i.e; Alphabet Inc.'s valuation is about $730 billion while Yahoo's is just $35 billion
(approximately the equivalent amount on which Soft Bank acquired UK chip designer ARM @ $32 billion recently).

                  Yahoo! never knew that the company which it left for just $2 billion at that time will be the biggest night mare with the Indian CEO Sundar Pichai leading it. Though yahoo can never say Yahoo! anymore.
               
                  The lessons learnt from this is never underestimate the power of a company which has an unseen potential growth in future. Analyze, think and then take the right decision, take 6 months instead of 3 to make a good decision indeed, so that you don't need to regret it later on after few years.

So, here Paytm wants to be that one good friend of the above people by taking out their own profits in return. 

By doing this both the people will be having the advantage, the vendors can get the loan and also then Paytm will have the increased number of users which in turn will benefit the Paytm.

Honda decided to recall a total of 1,90,578 vehicles in India due to the Takata airbag issue.
It would have costed them a lot, but by doing so it has reached to the greatest heights of delivering the value to the customer. When found faulty its airbags,

Honda recalled all it's vehicles for sorting out the issue and then will give back the customers the new brand car in turn. This can also be a very big sign in improving the brand image of Honda.

Creating an example for many other competitors it has focused on the reliability and correcting what they have done wrong is also a good sign to improve the market share further.

There are many ways in which a Indian-women is treated. Starting from the Goddess, they are off course been treated as a mother and with lot of respect.

The second category is your own mother, it depends on you whether you respect your own mother or not. But, usually people do because she is theirs.

Third category is your wife, for whom you will be very protective towards.

Fourth category is your own daughter, which is an angel on earth for you, you can't see her hurt at all.

The fifth and the least-respected women is others daughter.

How about a girl, who is wearing shorts/jeans/skirt and passing through a road, a normal Indian man will look at her in a manner that he has never ever saw a girl.

What if your own daughter is wearing those shorts/jeans/skirt, you will praise her's beauty and will give her a compliment and then if anyone else will do the same with your daughter, you will really think of killing him or snatch his eyes. Right?

Why? She is also a girl, when you can look at others daughter with a bad eye, why can't your daughter be seen as in the same aspect as others.

Is Love blind or the person loving is?

People not from now but from the very beginning use to say that Love is Blind...!

I mean really...! Is it so?

Anyway the word LOVE has no eyes, well it's a word.

Nor the feeling of LOVE has any eyes...!

Then why do people say that Love is blind. Is it?

Those people who spoil their career, lives and everything in the so called LOVE are actually to be declared as Blinds only, then why to have eyes, donate them to the needy ones who actually will utilize those in a better manner.

Yea Love is Blind for those, who are like- having the GF/BF are the only source of living in the real world.

But, they need to realize that- they are actually wasting their valuable time which they would have utilized to make their superb career ahead. It is not like- they can't have GF/BF or it is all time wasting, but having a good relationship is that making your career ahead by supporting each other at the difficult times not to spoil each others career by always wasting the time of each other.
And people doing so, are actually the "willful blind".

The very beautiful turn in the Indian E-commerce industry is to see what if Snapdeal and Flipkart combines there operations. As per the recent news both the Bansal's, Binny Bansal and Sachin Bansal are thinking on to acquire or to have a partnership with the Giant Amazon.

The twist comes when now Alibaba is soon going to tap the Indian market with a huge investment.
What if the the two companies Snapdeal and Flipkart combines and together tries to beat the Giant Amazon, which is performing really very well with it's top secret of the customer-centric approach.

It can clearly be seen as the people are switching to Amazon, for many reasons, one of which is secured and timely delivery of the products they are ordering.

The secret will be uncovered soon, as soon as the the Bansal's will announce that. It will be very interesting to know the this secret soon so as to see a big change in the policies, operations and the giants fighting with each other will definitely give  customers the benefit to get good services.

After all, each one of them will be seeking the largest market share And what if Alibaba also tries to take the help of Amazon of fight these two kids with a less investment all together. FYI if Flipkart does so, then it will actually be 3in1. As Myntra was also acquired by Flipkart
 in 2014

               People go through internet for finding many external ways to improve your memory, but what lies is among you all.

               The secret which all of us are not very aware of, lies among us only. The only point is to realize that at the right moment of time. Some people will say that all this is really shit. But, the matter of fact, when you start utilizing this then only you will get to know how beautiful your life is turning. 

               The game of memory, lies in just one word "MEDITATION". The problem to all your solution is just this. Whether it be stress, memory issue or any other health issue, meditation helps you in fighting with all those things.

             
                Now the question arises that why does meditation benefit memory?

It's some how counter intuitive. During meditation, our brains stop processing any sort of information as actively as they normally would.

               You should better try this out and yourself see the results in front of you.

Because, the other matter of fact is that- No one else can convince you better than yourself. Trust your experience and go ahead for the better life ahead.

The valuable compromises which we don't value at all.

What do you think are the worst compromises, which you make when you are far apart from your parents for studying? Or those in which you didn't went for a party because of lack of the funds you have in your pockets?

If analyzed and felt deeply then the worst compromises are those which are made by your parents, mother especially. She don't buy clothes, even on Diwali/Eid, as she has to collect the fees for your college. She don't want to waste money on her treatment because she just want you to study hard and make your future bright. She is just sooooo damn working hard just to make your future, spoiling her's own future. 

Then too if you waste her efforts and still think you could be happy by joining those parties, wasting the time in the useless activities and not studying for what she has sent you apart from her. Then seriously a big shame on you. Because the hardest of all pain in the world for a women is living at a distance from a child and that's the reason why she call you her's "Jigar ka tukda".

If you really want to give something to her in turn of her's sacrifices, gift her a life full of happiness, comfort and the life in which she does not have to live far away from you.
