There are many ways in which a Indian-women is treated. Starting from the Goddess, they are off course been treated as a mother and with lot of respect.
The second category is your own mother, it depends on you whether you respect your own mother or not. But, usually people do because she is theirs.
Third category is your wife, for whom you will be very protective towards.
Fourth category is your own daughter, which is an angel on earth for you, you can't see her hurt at all.
The fifth and the least-respected women is others daughter.
How about a girl, who is wearing shorts/jeans/skirt and passing through a road, a normal Indian man will look at her in a manner that he has never ever saw a girl.
What if your own daughter is wearing those shorts/jeans/skirt, you will praise her's beauty and will give her a compliment and then if anyone else will do the same with your daughter, you will really think of killing him or snatch his eyes. Right?
Why? She is also a girl, when you can look at others daughter with a bad eye, why can't your daughter be seen as in the same aspect as others.
Why? Because she is yours right?
If the people will start thinking in this perspective then half of the problem will be automatically be solved. All what a girl need is the respect first, before anything else. Right to equality also gives equal rights to women.
Please stop doing so!
Stop others from doing so!
