Honda decided to recall a total of 1,90,578 vehicles in India due to the Takata airbag issue.
It would have costed them a lot, but by doing so it has reached to the greatest heights of delivering the value to the customer. When found faulty its airbags,

Honda recalled all it's vehicles for sorting out the issue and then will give back the customers the new brand car in turn. This can also be a very big sign in improving the brand image of Honda.

Creating an example for many other competitors it has focused on the reliability and correcting what they have done wrong is also a good sign to improve the market share further.
